BISHOPSTOWN HOUSE
In our neighbouring estate we have just renovated a 3-storey Georgian house called Bishopstown House. The house is just a mile from Coolatore House and features 4 double bedrooms and 2 family bedrooms, 2 large living rooms, dining room and gorgeous country kitchen. • Our large traditional country kitchen is at the heart of the house and features everything you need for an enjoyable stay, including ample cutlery and delph, restored Heritage range cooker, gas oven, American fridge, microwave, antique table and much more.
• A stunning cellar area featuring your very own private pub (installed by Guinness and featuring creamy stout and lager on draft), live music room (with karaoke machine and P.A. soundsystem), games room (with table tennis and darts), and two further entertainment/function rooms, W.C. and smoking area.
• Oil-fired central heating system in main house and cellar area.
• Four Fireplaces - firewood and turf from Coolatore Bog etc is provided and replenished by our estate managers Alan or Sean during your stay.
• A very comfortable library boasting wall to ceiling books and other treasures is the ideal place to unwind or curl up with a book.
• The large living room area (10m x 5m or 34ft x 16ft) has hundreds of uses, and can easily change into the ideal room for dinner parties, receptions and get togethers. It's also just a great room to chill-out in beside a roaring fire. It's French doors lead to the 20 acres grounds.
• The elegant dining room (8m x 5m or 25ft x 15ft) with its large oval mahogany table can seat up to 20 people, with a second table able to seat 6. It offers stunning views of Coolatore Estate and Cnoc Aiste and can be used for any get-together, and is easily converted into a boardroom or business meeting/conference room.
• Private offices with telephone and wi-fi internet available upon request.
• There is a playroom for children of all ages. We also have a trampoline and swing, Camping areas, fires for story-telling and nature trails through the woods makes it an ideal venue for children small and big!
